The company is also involved in the provision of workshop, construction, shipping dockyard, real estate, transportation and warehousing, engineering and ship repair, and marketing services, as well as in professional, scientific, technical, agriculture and trading activities. In addition, it engages in the water treatment, wastewater treatment, treatment, and recovery of waste materials and remediation activities. The company was founded in 1976 and is headquartered in Bangka, Indonesia. PT TIMAH Tbk is a subsidiary of PT Mineral Industri Indonesia (Persero).
