It sells its products through dealers, and sales agents and representatives. The company was founded in 1968 and is headquartered in Jakarta Barat, Indonesia.

Latar Belakang

Pada tahun 1968, PT. Surya Pertiwi Tbk (SPTO) telah menjadi agen tunggal di Indonesia dari TOTO Jepang, produsen produk kamar mandi Jepang terkemuka. TOTO adalah salah satu produsen produk kamar mandi terbesar di dunia, didirikan sejak 1917. Pada tahun 1977, pemegang saham SPTO, bersama dengan TOTO Jepang, mendirikan PT. Surya Toto Indonesia Tbk untuk memproduksi dan menjual produk merek TOTO di Indonesia, di bawah lisensi TOTO Jepang. Sejak tahun 1978, SPTO menjadi distributor tunggal eksklusif produk TOTO di Indonesia, dan saat ini, SPTO memerintahkan jaringan distribusi yang luas ke 14 kota besar di luar Jabodetabek dan Surabaya, di seluruh kepulauan Indonesia. Selain TOTO, SPTO juga mendistribusikan merek-merek terkemuka lainnya seperti Villeroy & Boch, Stiebel Eltron, Geberit, Franke, Jacuzzi dan Kaldewei.
